Plans, upgrades and billing
Before you start
Everything on this page happens on Billing in the sidebar, which shows your current plan, its price, the next billing date and how many charts and dashboards you use. Your plan and invoices are your own. In a team workspace, the chart and dashboard counts on Billing are that workspace's.
Plans at a glance
ChartOmodo has 5 plans: Free, Starter, Pro, Business and Enterprise. Free needs no card and does not expire; for Enterprise, email us. Pricing lists what each plan includes and its current price.
Upgrade or change plan
Card plans
- On Billing, press Change plan. It opens Pricing.
- With USD selected, choose monthly or yearly billing with Bill annually, then press the button on the plan’s card.
- On Free, checkout opens. If you already pay by card, a dialog shows the new plan and its price instead: press Switch plan to confirm.
If your card plan is set to end, resume it from the billing portal to change plans, or subscribe again after it ends. A Rupiah plan changes through its renewal invoice instead, as described below.
A switch is immediate. Upgrading charges the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period to your card on file. Downgrading refunds the unused part to your original payment method, and features above the new plan stop right away. A yearly plan moves to monthly only at renewal.
Rupiah plans
A Rupiah plan is a year paid in advance. To change it, open the renewal invoice: under Switch plan at renewal, the new plan starts when the current year ends, at today’s price for that plan. If a card plan still renews by itself, turn that off under Manage billing first; a Rupiah year bought after that starts when the card plan ends, so no paid day is lost.
Cancel and resume
On Billing, press Manage billing to open the billing portal, and cancel or resume your plan there. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for: Billing then shows the date under Endsinstead of Next bill on. Resume it in the same portal before that date to keep it.
A Rupiah plan has nothing to cancel: it ends when its year ends unless you pay the renewal invoice.
Refunds
The refund policy says when ChartOmodo refunds a charge and how to ask. A downgrade on a card plan refunds the unused part of the period by itself.
Currency
Prices show in USD or IDR. Your first visit picks IDR when your browser language is Indonesian or you visit from Indonesia, and USD otherwise. Rupiah prices are set separately, not converted from USD.
To switch, use the USD and IDR buttons on Pricing. Your choice is remembered on that browser. Rupiah plans are paid through TriPay by QRIS or bank virtual account, billed yearly.
Invoices
- Card plans: Payment history on Billing lists your recent payments with date, amount and status. Invoices with tax details (PDF) are in the billing portal, under Manage billing.
- Rupiah plans: Invoices (IDR) on Billing lists each invoice with its plan, whether it is a new plan or a renewal, its due date, amount and status. Open one to pay it, or open a paid one and press View receipt to print its receipt.
If it does not work
Checkout is temporarily unavailable
Checkout is paused for now, Rupiah invoice payments included. Try again later.
Your last payment did not go through
On Billing, press Manage billing and update your card in the billing portal. If that does not help, email support@chartomodo.com.
A Rupiah invoice still says Unpaid after you paid
Open the invoice again from Invoices (IDR): the page asks TriPay for the payment’s status. If it says Expired, it can no longer be paid: press Pay in Rupiah to buy the plan again from Billing.
Payment methods are unavailable right now
The invoice could not list TriPay’s payment methods. Try again in a few minutes.
An invoice is due
Billing shows the invoice number, amount and due date at the top. Press Pay invoice to pay it.
Questions
Does a plan change take effect right away?
On a card plan, yes. Upgrading charges the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period; downgrading refunds the unused part to your original payment method, and features above the new plan stop at once.
Can I move from yearly to monthly billing?
Only at renewal. Cancel the annual plan in the billing portal, then subscribe monthly after it ends.
Do Rupiah plans renew automatically?
No. A Rupiah plan is paid a year in advance. Before the year ends, a renewal invoice appears on the Billing page for you to pay.
