How to build this in Notion
- Keep one row per deal. Add a number property for the deal value, a select or status property for the stage, a select property for the owner, and a date property for the expected close.
- Connect the pipeline. Create an account, open Data sources, connect Notion and share the pipeline database. ChartOmodo only reads it: it lists the database, reads its property names and adds up rows.
- Chart value by stage. Choose Bar, set X-axis (category) to stage and Y-axis (value) to value with Sum, then sort by value, descending.
- Look at it by owner. Build the same chart with owner on the X-axis. Each bar is the summed deal value one person owns, largest first, so a thin bar stands out.
- Embed it where the team looks. Paste the embed link into the team's Notion page with /embed. It shows the same numbers as the builder and refreshes on your plan's timer.
A funnel is one of the chart types too, but a funnel only reads well when each stage holds less than the one before. In this sample the stages do not narrow, so a sorted bar chart tells the story more honestly.
